Research
- Adaptive grid generation
- Numerical methods for conservation laws
- Multi-scale methods
- Efficient algorithms
Together with my group we develop numerical methods, which can represent multi-scale geophysical processes. These are for example:
- adaptive two- and three-dimensional tracer dispersion
- adaptive numerical methods for inundation and tsunami simulation
- multi-scale representation of sub-grid processes in climate simulation
